Miniclip

What a start to the year! Miniclip become our first new client of 2007 with an explosive fireworks game called “Fireworks Frenzy” to celebrate the New Year.

The game is set in London with a view of the Thames skyline with the London Eye at its focal point. Fireworks zoom across the sky and your task is to click on the rockets before they leave the screen. The quicker you get them, the more points you get.

Once you click on a rocket, it explodes in a shower of light and bangs, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s uplifting 1812 Overture. The game looks strikingly similar to the London fireworks display which brought in the 2007 New Year (they clearly gained inspiration from our little game…).

Having finished the game, you can enter your score into the Miniclip high score table, which shows you daily, weekly and monthly stats including your global ranking.

Rob Small, CEO and co-founder of Miniclip says, “Fireworks Frenzy is a really simple, fun and addictive game and provides the key ingredients to a successful viral game. It’s the perfect game to launch the New Year and we hope to work with Inbox again in the future.”

Oli Christie, Creative Director of Inbox Digital says, “We’re delighted to be producing content for Miniclip, the biggest games site in the world, and this game is a right little belter. 2007 looks like a very exciting year for Inbox and this is the perfect start.”
